The WM8521 is a HiFi DAC featuring 2Vrms output and on-board filtering. The highly integrated nature of the WM8521 means that no external active filter stages are required at the outputs of the device. This evaluation platform has been designed to allow the user ease of use and give optimum performance in device measurement.
This evaluation platform and documentation should be used in conjunction with the latest version of the WM8521 datasheet. The datasheet gives device functionality information as well as timing and data format requirements.
