WM8590-EV1 is a board designed to demonstrate Wolfson’s WM8590 Audio codec and evaluate its performance.
The control software supplied with the board makes it easy to use, enabling users to try out the device features while playing or recording audio signals through the WM8590.
This evaluation platform and documentation should be used in conjunction with the latest version of the WM8590 datasheet. The datasheet gives device functionality information as well as timing and data format requirements.
