WM8711EV1 is a board designed to demonstrate Wolfson’s WM8711 Portable Audio DAC and evaluate its performance. The control software supplied with the board makes it easy to use, enabling users to try out the device’s features while playing audio signals through the WM8711.
This evaluation platform and documentation should be used in conjunction with the latest version of the WM8711 datasheet. The datasheet gives device functionality information as well as timing and data format requirements. Note: WM8711EV1 uses the same circuit board as the pin-compatible codec eval board WM8731EV1, but the WM8711 audio DAC is mounted instead of the WM8731 codec. .
