The WM8593 is a high performance multi-channel audio CODEC with flexible input/output selection, designed for demanding consumer audio applications requiring a large amount of analogue and digital switching and routing like flat panel digital TV, DVD-RW and STB.

This evaluation platform and documentation should be used in conjunction with the latest version of the WM8593 datasheet. The datasheet gives device functionality information as well as timing and data format requirements.
