Combined with our mixed-signal design capability, Enhanced Soundware enables Wolfson to offer innovative active noise cancellation, sound enhancement and 3D sound in combination with our high performance, low power audio products across a wide range of consumer electronic applications. These capabilities put the consumer at the centre of the action, with enhanced audio intelligibility and decreased distractions from outside noise, in devices like mobile phones or portable media players. Enhanced Soundware technology is being added to some of Wolfson’s existing products and will also enable completely new chips, providing dedicated functions such as noise cancellation.
