Edinburgh, UK, 21 April 2004 - Wolfson Microelectronics plc (LSE: WLF.L) today announced that it has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2004. Wolfson’s overseas revenue has trebled over the last three years, with 90% of the company’s FY03 sales going to the Asia/Pacific region.

Commenting on the award, David Milne, CEO said, “We are tremendously honoured to receive this award in recognition of the hard work and dedication that all of our staff, worldwide, have put in and I am delighted to receive it on their behalf.” He continued, “We believe our international growth continues to be driven by the rapid growth in demand for a multitude of new portable entertainment devices and digital consumer products that need the high performance mixed signal interfaces we supply.”
