Wolfson Presented with Queens Award for Enterprise

Edinburgh, UK, 9 July 2004 - Wolfson Microelectronics plc (LSE: WLF.L) today were presented with the Queens Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2004, by the Rt. Hon. Lesley Hinds Lord Lieutenant and Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh.
The award was made after Wolfsons overseas revenue has trebled over the last three years, with 90% of the companys FY03 sales going to the Asia/Pacific region.

Based in Edinburgh where the head-office and all product development is located, the company has established a strong sales and technical support presence in the USA, Taiwan, China, Japan and Korea. The company also expanded its technical capability by opening a design centre in the Thames Valley.
