Leading US magazine selects the WM8350 as the year’s best audio IC 

Wolfson Microelectronics announces that its WM8350 integrated audio and power management solution has won a coveted 2008 Editor’s Choice Award from influential US magazine Portable Design. The WM8350 has been personally selected by Portable Design’s editor-in-chief John Donovan, to be his ‘best audio IC’ product of the year.

Portable Design’s Editor’s Choice Awards recognise electronic components that enhance the design of leading-edge portable products. Every year the magazine singles out for recognition those new products that it considers to be the most innovative. It chooses the winner from the thousands of product releases that cross its desks over the course of the previous year.
