Royal Academy Elects Wolfson's Managing Director as Fellow

Edinburgh, UK, 24 July 2002 - Wolfson Microelectronics plc, today announced that its managing director, Dr David Milne, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, following the Academys AGM.
I am privileged and delighted to be elected as a Fellow of the Royal Academy, said Milne following the announcement. He explained, The Academy continually promotes excellence and innovation in engineering alongside the great work it does in encouraging and promoting engineering to the general public. To be recognised by my peers in this way is a great honour.
Milnes election to the Fellowship recognises his success in leading Wolfson Microelectronics to the status of internationally recognised supplier of advanced, high quality, analogue and mixed signal ICs.
The Royal Academy of Engineering now has 1206 Fellows including some of the giants of British industry and academia and has recently announced its two youngest ever Fellows.
