Wolfson Microelectronics Expands in the US

SAN DIEGO, CA., -- August 27, 2002 – Wolfson Microelectronics plc, a technical leader in developing audio ICs for multimedia and communications applications, hired two new OEM sales managers, in response to the growing demand for its technology. Both executives will be based in the company’s new office in San Diego.

According to Brian McLean, Wolfson’s vice president of sales, the company has encountered a growing demand for its technology across a wide range of products. “The Company will continue to expand its office in San Diego as long as technology companies continue to require the kind of mixed-signal expertise Wolfson supplies.”
